We are delighted that Minister Mark Bailey has agreed to open the Expo. He has been a great supporter of the Expo since its inception in 2018 and we look forward to welcoming him once again. It is worth recognising that the Queensland Government has done much to support electric transport options, including the Electric Superhighway, NOT adopting an EV tax, developing a QFleet electric vehicle transition strategy, and developing clear rules around the use of e-scooters.
Electric scooters are changing our transport options, and you will be able to check out the great range from iScoot at the 21 March Noosa EV Expo. They can deliver short or long distance capabilities, and when folded are light enough to carry onto public transport.
Cycling Without Age - Sunshine Coast are an amazing volunteer group giving rides to elderly or disabled Sunshine Coast residents on their pedal-powered electric trishaws. They are coming to the Noosa EV Expo on Sunday 21 March and even providing trial rides in their trishaw! Maybe you might even think about volunteering with them?
