Thousands Gather to Electrify Their Future at the 8th Annual Noosa EV & Electrify Everything Expo

Sunshine Beach Road came alive on Sunday 21 June as more than 6,500 people attended the 8th Annual Noosa EV & Electrify Everything Expo, making it our biggest and most successful event yet.

Hosted by Zero Emissions Noosa (ZEN), the Expo has grown from a small community group initiative into Queensland’s largest energy event dedicated to electric transport and home and business electrification. This year’s event brought together more than 65 exhibitors and featured over 30 electric vehicles representing more than 20 automotive brands, alongside the latest in home batteries, rooftop and carport solar, EV charging, induction cooking, home and pool heating, energy management, e-bikes, e-scooters and other practical technologies that are helping households and businesses reduce their energy costs and emissions.

But the Expo has always been about much more than displaying technology.

It provides independent, practical information that helps people make informed decisions about electrifying their homes, businesses and transport. Visitors could compare products side by side, speak directly with manufacturers, installers and owners, hear from industry experts, and experience electric vehicles and e-mobility solutions first-hand.

Inspiring Real Decisions

The results from our visitor survey demonstrate the value of providing trusted, community-based information.

  • 94% of visitors rated the Expo four or five stars.

  • 85% said the Expo helped them make a decision about electrifying their home or business.

  • 75% said it helped them make decisions about electric vehicles or e-mobility.

  • 85% intend to make an electrification purchase within the next 12 months.

  • 64% were attending the Expo for the first time.

These figures reinforce that the Expo isn’t simply attracting curious visitors—it’s helping people take meaningful steps towards reducing their energy bills, improving energy independence and embracing cleaner transport.

The strong proportion of first-time attendees also demonstrates that the Expo continues to expand its reach each year, introducing new audiences to technologies that can benefit both their household budgets and the environment.

More Than an Expo

Visitors experienced a packed program throughout the morning.

The Private EV Owners Display gave prospective buyers the opportunity to speak with local owners about their real-world experiences, while Giles Parkinson (The Driven) and the ZEN Energy Champions provided free, independent advice on EV’s, home electrification and energy efficiency.

The ever-popular induction cooking demonstrations showed how modern electric cooking delivers speed, precision and performance, while the e-bike and e-scooter demonstration area allowed visitors to safely experience new forms of electric mobility.

Families enjoyed the relaxed community atmosphere, with something to interest everyone—from first-time EV buyers through to homeowners exploring batteries, solar, efficient appliances and smarter ways to manage energy use.

Powered by Community

An event of this scale is only possible because of the extraordinary generosity of our volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors and community partners.

More than 50 volunteers contributed countless hours before, during and after the Expo, helping with everything from traffic management and visitor information through to exhibitor support, registrations and event logistics.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors and exhibitors, whose support enables us to present a free event that remains accessible to everyone in our community.

Our appreciation also goes to Noosa Council, Noosa Junction Association, emergency services, local businesses and the many organisations that helped make the day such a success.

Looking Ahead

The success of this year’s Expo confirms that community demand for trusted information about electrification continues to grow.

Whether someone is considering their first electric vehicle, exploring a home battery, installing solar, purchasing an e-bike or simply wanting to understand how to reduce their household energy costs, the Expo provides a welcoming place to ask questions and learn without sales pressure.

At Zero Emissions Noosa, that’s exactly what we’re here to do—help our community make informed choices that are good for their wallets, their homes and our region.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, exhibited or sponsored the event, thank you for helping make the 8th Annual Noosa EV & Electrify Everything Expo our most successful yet.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2027 as we continue supporting the community’s transition to cleaner, smarter and more affordable energy and transport.
