Noosa is set to host one of Queensland’s largest and most comprehensive electric transport and home and business electrification showcases, bringing together the latest technology, expert insights and family-friendly entertainment in a vibrant street festival atmosphere.

The upcoming 8th annual Noosa EV & Electrify Everything Expo will feature more than 30 of the newest electric vehicle models from over 20 car brands, marking one of the largest displays of EVs ever assembled in one location in Queensland.

For visitors curious about making the switch to electric driving, the event offers a rare opportunity to compare vehicles side by side, explore features in detail and speak directly with knowledgeable representatives.

A wide range of alternative electric transport options will also be on display, including legal e-bikes, scooters, trikes, motorbikes, motorcycles and even golf cars. Visitors won’t just be looking — they’ll be able to experience many of these first-hand, with a dedicated trial ride area allowing people to safely test ride a variety of models throughout the day.

Beyond electric vehicles and e-mobility options, the Expo will feature more than 65 exhibitors and community organisations offering practical advice on how households and businesses can reduce energy costs through electrification. From solar and battery systems, including solar carports and fast home charging solutions, to energy-efficient appliances and home energy management tools, attendees will gain insight into how small changes can deliver long-term savings while reducing emissions.

For those seeking personalised EV advice, attendees can book one-on-one sessions with Giles Parkinson, founder and editor of Renew Economy and The Driven, and host of several of Australia’s leading EV-focused podcasts. In addition, ZEN’s Home Energy Champions and Business Energy Advisor will be available from 10:30am to noon to answer questions and provide free independent guidance on energy use, efficiency and electrification options.

Another popular feature of the Expo is the private EV owners precinct, where visitors can speak directly with local EV car owners about the realities of day-to-day electric vehicle ownership. These first-hand conversations provide practical insights into charging, maintenance, running costs and long-distance travel — information many prospective buyers find invaluable when considering the transition to electric transport.

Adding a unique local flavour to the event, celebrated Noosa chefs Luc and Pascal Turschwell will present live induction cooking demonstrations, showcasing the precision, speed and performance of modern electric cooking technology. Their sessions will highlight how electrification can improve both energy efficiency and cooking outcomes, followed by an Electrify Q&A session with the audience. Seats are limited so booking early is essential.

Designed as a festival-style community event, the Expo caters to all ages. Families can enjoy live entertainment, including Hot 91FM broadcasting throughout the day, children’s activities and a wide variety of food and beverage options, creating a relaxed and engaging atmosphere in the heart of Noosa Junction.

Visitors will also have the chance to win a range of major prizes and giveaways, including a home battery system, a home EV charger with installation, a portable induction cooktop and a luxury “staycation” at the RACV Noosa Resort, along with other prizes that showcase the benefits of embracing an electric lifestyle.

With its combination of innovation, education and community engagement, the event reflects Noosa’s ongoing commitment to forward-thinking and sustainable solutions and is proudly supported by Noosa Council and the Noosa Junction Association and organized by Zero Emissions Noosa Inc.

Whether visitors are ready to invest in electric technology or simply curious about what the future holds, the Noosa EV & Electrify Everything Expo provides a comprehensive and accessible introduction to the possibilities of fully electrified living.
