Queensland’s biggest EV and home and business electrify showcase comes to town
Noosa is set to host one of Queensland’s most comprehensive EV and home and business electrify showcases, bringing together the latest technology, expert insights and family-friendly entertainment in a vibrant street festival atmosphere.
The upcoming event will feature more than 30 electric vehicle models from over 20 car brands, marking the largest display of EVs ever assembled in one location in the state. For visitors curious about making the switch to electric driving, the event offers a rare opportunity to compare vehicles side by side, explore features in detail and speak directly with knowledgeable representatives.
Beyond cars, there will be over 60 exhibitors and community organisations on hand, offering practical advice on how households and businesses can reduce energy costs by transitioning to electric solutions. From solar and battery systems to simple home energy efficiency upgrades, attendees will gain insight into how small changes can deliver long-term savings.
A wide range of alternative electric transport options will also be on display, including e-bikes, e-scooters, electric skateboards, motorcycles and even golf cars. Visitors won’t just be looking—they’ll be able to experience many of these firsthand, with a dedicated trial ride area allowing people to test ride a range of models in a safe and controlled environment.
For those seeking individual advice, attendees can book one-on-one sessions with Giles Parkinson, founder and editor of Renew Economy and The Driven, and host of some of Australia’s leading EV-focused podcasts. In addition, ZEN’s Home Energy Champions and Business Energy Advisor will be available from 10:30 to Noon to answer questions and provide personalised guidance on energy use, efficiency and electrification.
A key highlight of the event is the opportunity to hear from real EV owners. These firsthand conversations offer practical insights into daily use, charging, maintenance and the realities of ownership—information that often proves invaluable for those considering making the transition.
Adding a unique local flavour, celebrated Noosa chefs Luc and Pascal Turschwell will provide a culinary experience showcasing the precision and performance of induction cooking. Their culinary sessions promise to blend energy savings with creativity, demonstrating how modern electric appliances can enhance both efficiency and cooking outcomes, with an Electrify Q&A session with Mark Purcell following.
Designed as a festival-style experience, the event caters to all ages. Families can enjoy live entertainment, children’s activities and a variety of food options, creating a relaxed and engaging atmosphere that goes beyond a traditional expo.
There’s also a range of giveaways on offer. Prizes include a home EV charger complete with installation, as well as a “staycation” at the RACV Noosa Resort, along with other rewards that highlight the benefits of embracing an electric lifestyle.
With its combination of innovation, education and community engagement, the event reflects Noosa’s ongoing commitment to forward-thinking solutions and is supported by Noosa Council and the Noosa Junction Association. Whether visitors are ready to invest in electric technology or simply curious about what the future holds, the showcase provides a comprehensive and accessible introduction to the possibilities of electrified living.
