Free and independent advice to help your business beat rising bills

Are you looking at rising electricity, fuel, and LPG bills, and wondering what’s the best way to cut costs and increase your bottom line?

With strong interest and great results across the shire, Noosa Council’s Business Energy Advisor Program through Zero Emissions Noosa is here to help with free and independent advice.

The local Advisor, Josh, helps local businesses rein in rising energy costs and make the most of new technology with practical, no-cost advice to small and medium-sized businesses.

“We know there are savings out there. The challenge for most business owners is time and knowing where to start, who to trust, and which steps will actually deliver value” said Josh.

“For time-poor business owners dealing with fast-increasing bills and fast-moving changes, it makes a massive difference to have some help to provide clarity on opportunities, expected returns, and next steps".

Some local examples who have used the service demonstrate the potential:

  • Mayan Villas in Kin Kin have installed a solar system, battery and 25kW EV charger to lower energy bills, improve black out resilience, and provide next-level customer services to support their sustainability, growth, and market positioning.

  • Footpoint Podiatry in Noosaville has installed a solar system expected to pay itself off in under four years, before supplying free electricity for a further 20+ and enabling consideration of further cost reduction opportunities like EVs.

  • Several businesses have saved money immediately by reviewing their energy tariffs and making operational changes to reduce consumption and cost.

Local Noosa Shire businesses can book a free advisory call from Josh using this google form or via email at josh.stevens@zeroemissionsnoosa.com.
