Solar Citizens

Solar Citizens is bringing its Electric Ute Roadshow the 2023 Noosa EV Expo. It is a community campaign run by clean energy and transport advocates Solar Citizens, to unlock the benefits of affordable electric vehicles for the regions.

The Electric Ute Roadshow is highlighting the choice of more efficient, affordable and diverse vehicles that are suitable for the regions – including the much-loved Aussie tradition of utes. By touring an electric ute around Australia, Solar Citizens is allowing regional communities and MPs see first-hand the many cost-saving benefits that electric vehicles can bring to the regions.

Clean Getaway

Back in 2010, Joe took on Clean Getaway Car Detailing solely as a mobile service on the Sunshine Coast when he was just 19. With his beloved VT Commodore & trailer, the business slowly grew, enabling him to employ staff, upgrade vehicles, and within a few years operate 4 mobile vans servicing the Coast also while working from their home garage.

Taking a huge leap of faith, in 2016, Joe & his wife Mia transitioned Clean Getaway into the current workshop in Warana, providing a professional fixed location like no other, and then expanded into another unit in the same building complex in 2021 creating much-needed space for vehicles.

The Noosa EV Expo and Street Fest is an all weather event.

Sunshine Beach Rd will be closed for the event from 6.30am – 4.00pm, so plan ahead to get to the event.

Please note due to the road closure Bus stops will be moved to Noosa Drive for routes 620, 626, 627, 629, 631.

All traffic will be rerouted during the road closure.

Vehicles in Sunshine Beach Rd, Noosa Junction at 6am will be towed away.

Parking will be available in car parks at Bottlebrush Avenue, Transit Centre car park, Cooyar Street car park and Lanyana Way (Council) car park.
