Airqua to provide purified water from the Air at the EV Expo

Airqua is a new startup founded by two Sunshine Coast locals aiming to put new life in to a very old idea. Harvesting drinking water from the air is a practice that’s been around for more than 2000 years, and various forms of Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) machines for more than a century, but in recent times they have been vastly improved through modern technology.

IEA says global EV demand 'motoring along' as sales tipped to be one-in-five in 2024.

In an article released by ABC News, “Sales of electric vehicles are motoring along according to a report from the world's leading energy authority that predicts one in five cars sold this year could be electric.

In a report that brushes aside claims of a slowdown in the industry, the International Energy Agency forecast that EV sales would surge in 2024 on the back of falling prices.

In short: The International Energy Agency predicts EV uptake could surge in 2024 to about one-in-five new car sales.

• The agency says demand growth for EVs is strong despite perceptions of a slowdown hitting the industry globally.

• What's next: EV manufacturers including Tesla are expected to file updates showing profits coming under pressure.”
